Programs--

Red River Recovery Center offers two levels of care:

Medium Intensity:

Our Medium Intensity Program is part of a continuum of care to help individuals ease in to sober living independence.  Residents are required to participate in a minimum of fifteen hours of programming each week.  Programming hours are accumulated through attendance in peer groups, one-on-one counselor sessions and small group meetings.  Medium Intensity is a three phase program. Mobility through the three phases is based on readiness of the individual client and progress toward their treatment goals. Each phase allows more community involvement.

Low Intensity:

Some residents begin programming in Low Intensity upon admission while others will complete Medium Intensity programming and move to Low Intensity.  Residents in Low Intensity programming are required to participate in a minimum of five hours of programming each week.  Programming hours are accumulated through attendance in peer groups and a weekly one-on-one counselor session.

Several factors are considered when determining the level of initial programming.  Factors may include recommendations from a substance use assessment or primary counselor, treatment history, recidivism, the comfort level of the individual entering treatment as well as the individual’s history of abstinence from problematic substance use.
